About the RoleWe are looking for a Tax Specialist to lead the tax PMO across the portfolio in Brazil, ensuring compliance, governance, and risk mitigation
The role acts as technical partner to the lead partner and portfolio company leadership, balancing technical depth, business acumen, and hands-on execution
- What You'll DoDevelop tax planning strategies, including corporate restructurings and new business models
- Prepare technical opinions with clear scenarios, impacts, and recommendations
- Ensure tax compliance and risk management, defining strategies for audits and proceedings
- Implement standardized tax reporting for portfolio companies and the fund
- Structure and lead the tax PMO (cadence, action plans, audits, deadlines)
- Build trusted relationships with CEOs and CFOs, navigating difficult conversations with diplomacy
- Monitor and support the implementation of tax legislation changes, including the Tax Reform (IBS, CBS, and Selective Tax)
